We have spotted Le Corbusier sofas in Hugh Grant's home...

The Iconic Interiors team turn furniture spotters and let you know where we have seen the designer furniture we feature for sale this month at the movies…

I have just caught sight of a clip of the new Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore film 'Music and Lyrics' and have definitely spotted Le Corbusier sofas (classic black leather upholstered) in Hugh Grant's character's home.

Previously reported on the site were the Barcelona chairs taking prominent place in the character M's home in the James Bond blockbuster 'Casino Royale'.

The two films mentioned above are exactly where you would expect to see iconic designer furniture but somewhat more bizarrely is the next spot.

Although I haven't seen it myself I am informed Jon Arbuckle has both the Barcelona chair and maybe also the Eames Lounge chair in his film set pad. Like me, you don't have a clue who Jon Arbuckle is? Perhaps his feline sidekick will give you a clue, fat, ginger and of a generally miserable disposition - the 80's iconic cartoon moggy - Garfield!

For as long as the team continues to watch films and notice the interior sets at the expense of the storylines I am sure this catalogue shall continue.
